Multipatchcord Extralink 24F SC/APC-SC/APC 10M (1M DISTANCE)

Multipatchcord is a specific type of fiber optic patchcord. It is built based on fiber optic cable with many fibers. At each end of the cable, there are connectors in number corresponding with number of fibers in the cable. Type and type of connectors is selected depending on the needs of a particular installation.

In order to make easier assembling of multipatchcord, either by drilling in the wall or by patchpanels’ inputs, it is possible to make two types of splice – cascade or straight. In cascade splice each connector in splice is made on cable with different length.

Multipatchcord makes connecting points easier and faster. It is ideal for connecting two patchpanels located in different cabinets e.g. in neighboring rooms.
