VIRTUS V3 is a PoE switch, 16 10/100Mbps PoE ports with 2 Gigabit Uplink ports and 1 SFP port.

Extralink VIRTUS V3 is perfect for powering IP cameras, wireless access points or IP phones.
VIRTUS V3 switch supports 4 modes of operation. In AI VLAN mode, the ports from 1-16 are isolated from each other, which can effectively stop broadcast storms and improve network performance. In AI Extend mode, the effective distance of data transmission and PoE power to ports 1-8 can reach 250 meters, which is extremely useful to power cameras far away from the switch. In AI PoE mode, the switch automatically detects the operating status of the device and when it detects that the device is malfunctioning, resets the power supply to the device. In AI QOS mode: Video data will be processed with priority.

Power supply to devices via Ethernet cable (PoE)

VIRTUS V3 supports IEEE 802.3af/at standards, automatically identifies devices that need PoE power, so it will not damage devices not powered by PoE. Total power budget for PoE ports is 150W.
The switch does not require any additional configuration and is ready to use when removed from the package. The included mounting brackets allow mounting the switch in a standard rack.

Mode buttons

– AI Extend: Port 1-8 supports PoE power up to 250 meters. (recommended cat 5 or higher cable)

– AI VLAN: Isolate ports 1-16 from each other, effectively stop network storms and improve network performance.

– AI QOS: Priority for identified video data to make video transmission smoother. Ideal mode for video surveillance.

– AI PoE: Automatically turn off the power and restart the device in case of detected inactivity (suspension).
