ToF 3D technology is widely used in autonomous vehicles. It can effectively identify the obstacle and calculate the distance through the built-in sensors. Xiaomi Mi Robot Vacuum-Mop 2 Pro+ is equipped with this technology, which takes cleaning efficiency to a level never achieved before.

Intelligent environment analysis and obstacle avoidance

The Mi Robot Vacuum-Mop 2 Pro+ cleaning robot effectively detects obstacles such as cables or shoes using next-generation sensors that are 10 times more accurate than infrared sensors. When an obstacle is detected, the vacuum cleaner slows down to avoid impact.

Intelligent space analysis and measurement

To prevent the cleaning robot from getting stuck in narrow spaces, the ToF camera works together with a high precision sensor. This allows to determine if the gap is wide enough for the vacuum cleaner to move smoothly. If not, the robot will change its direction of movement to avoid getting stuck.

3D VSLAM – visual navigation for accurate environment mapping

ToF sensors and VSLAM navigation work together through advanced algorithms to increase the precision of environment mapping and route planning.
